We all know the story. Starry-eyed young filmmakers with a mission to change the world. But as their careers progress, they face unethical business practices, growing wage disparities, and a toxic culture of abuse by executives and unhappy crew members. They watch talented peers burn out, sacrificing their personal lives just to make ends meet. These systemic issues have been tolerated for over a 100 years. Something needs to change.
